Summer in South Africa is all about soaking up the sunshine, enjoying quality time with loved ones (probably over a braai) and letting your hair down after a long year \u2013 ke Dezemba, after all! What better way to let off some steam than hosting an epic summer gathering?

We\u2019re pretty sure these will leave your friends and family with smiles on their faces and vibes that will last the whole holiday. Tip 1: Keep it Breezy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take a look outside \u2013 it\u2019s probably a scorcher, right? The most important tip is to keep your kuier <\/em>light and breezy. Set up a few umbrellas, lay some towels down on hot sand if you\u2019re at the beach and make sure you have plenty of sunscreen! You want your guests to be comfortable and relaxed, not fighting for shade, trying to escape the heat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tip 2: Keep the Drinks Flowing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
