Bubbles, anyone? Pretty (and tasty!) boba tea is a global trend we can definitely see becoming a hot tea classic. In honour of World Environment Day, we kept this healthy boba tea recipe plant based, using delicious almond or soy milk instead of dairy.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 bags BOS Strawberry & Vanilla Rooibos Flavoured Tea
- ½ cup pre-made or home-made boba
- Soy or almond milk to taste
- Brown sugar or honey to taste
METHOD:
- Prepare the boba (if you are not using pre-made boba).

Boil water and add to BOS Strawberry & Vanilla Flavoured Organic Rooibos. Allow to steep for five minutes.

Pour steeped tea into 2 cups.

Add soy or almond milk to taste.

Add honey or brown sugar to taste and stir until dissolved.

Add ¼ cup prepared boba to each cup.
Note: The longer boba stays in hot liquids, the chewier it will get. So don’t delay eating your delicious, sugared tapioca bubbles when bringing this beautiful and healthy boba tea recipe to life.
