As South Africans we know better than any other nation that there is immense power in community and we understand that unity is fundamental to our approach in all situations. BOS teamed up with South African rugby legend Siya Kolisi, his wife Rachel Kolisi and the Kolisi Foundation. Together, we created an impactful campaign that focused on empowering and impacting the nation.
Kolisi’s limited edition BOS Ice Tea
In the pursuit to drive meaningful change and to inspire others, Siya Kolisi’s Limited Edition BOS Ice Tea was born. The bold beadwork design of the Limited Edition can was inspired by Siya Kolisi’s Xhosa heritage. We aimed to drive the message that we are all brewed for greatness, with themes of finding joy and connection, looking at people as individual works of art, and exploring how we can each make a difference.
Siya says: “It’s deeply personal. This beautiful can talks about my Xhosa heritage and where I came from. It resembles the beads we wear in our traditional events. When we’re celebrating something, we dress up and paint our faces. The design was inspired by that, which is why it’s so important to me.”

Siya and Rachel Kolisi both understand the significance of uplifting communities and apply this perspective to their work with the Siya Kolisi Foundation. Siya attributes much of his success, both on and off the field, to the profound impact of his Zwide community, emphasising their significant role in shaping his life.
BOS donated 5% of the total turnover to the Kolisi Foundation, for all the Limited Edition BOS Ice Tea products sold, serving as a reminder that anyone can make a difference, believe in yourself and be proud of where you come from – we all have the potential for greatness, no matter where you come from.
