Summer in South Africa is all about soaking up the sunshine, enjoying quality time with loved ones (probably over a braai) and letting your hair down after a long year – ke Dezemba, after all! What better way to let off some steam than hosting an epic summer gathering?
We’ve curated a few tips on how to host a memorable summer bash. We’re pretty sure these will leave your friends and family with smiles on their faces and vibes that will last the whole holiday. Plus, we’ve got three incredible summer cocktail recipes that you absolutely have to try!
Tip 1: Keep it Breezy
Take a look outside – it’s probably a scorcher, right? The most important tip is to keep your kuier light and breezy. Set up a few umbrellas, lay some towels down on hot sand if you’re at the beach and make sure you have plenty of sunscreen! You want your guests to be comfortable and relaxed, not fighting for shade, trying to escape the heat.
Tip 2: Keep the Drinks Flowing
